Titanfall 2 PC May Be Digital Download Only – Report

Well, this is a bummer.

Titanfall 2 (4)

Well it seems that a leaked box art for the PC version of Titanfall 2 (courtesy of Wario64) shows that the game will only be available via digital download and not on a  physical disc. Of course this is not a huge concern for many PC players, as  many games today are delivered via digital downloads but then why have a physical retail release?

Of course this is not the first game to implement this. Games such as Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain only had an installer on the disc. The whole game actually needed to be downloaded from Steam. So what about Titanfall 2? Given that the original game was almost 50GB in size, Titanfall 2 may just be about the same size so be ready to save that bandwidth next month.

Titanfall 2 is out on October 28th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
