Titanfall 2’s New Mode ‘Free Agents’ Is Available Now

Free for all, with a spin.

The post launch support for Titanfall 2 has been nothing short of exemplary and fantastic- Respawn has released new maps and new modes, and now, another new mode is available for the game for absolutely free (with double XP bonuses to boot!), and you can download it now.

The mode is called ‘Free Agents’, and is essentially a spin on Free For All, tying Titans to being able to collect three batteries from all over the map. This adds a layer of objective based gameplay  to a mode that has traditionally been very run and gun trigger happy. Double XP is going to be limited to just this mode, and for only a limited period- so you may want to hop on and play it a bit if you want some of it for yourself.

Titanfall 2 launched last year for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC. While initial sales were slow thanks to a horrid launch window that put it smack dab in the middle of Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, it has managed to do well for itself, thanks to great post launch support from Respawn, and incredible word of mouth.
