Respawn Entertainment has revealed the newest DLC for Titanfall 2– it will be called Colony Reborn, and among other things, it will include a new map Colony, which is actually a map from the original Titanfall returning to this new game. There will also be a new execution called Curb Check, and a new weapon called the R-101.
All of this content will obviously be free- Respawn does not charge for maps, weapons, or abilities, seeking to not divide the community. That said, there will be some new cosmetic items that will also be made available alongside these, and they can be purchased for real world money.
If you haven’t yet bought into the game, the good news is that Respawn will be holding another Free Trial weekend for the game from March 30 to April 3.This Free Trial gives you full access to the multiplayer mode, as well as to the Training Gauntlet and the single player mission ‘The Beacon’. The Training Gauntlet and The Beacon will be playable for free forever even after the trial is over- so you really lose nothing from giving this a shot.
Titanfall 2 is available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
