Titanfall 3 is “Too Early” to Guarantee – Respawn CEO

It's "safe to assume" that dev will "explore more of it."

Titanfall 2 (3)

Titanfall 2 may not have blown the competition away with its sales but it’s done fairly well with critics and publisher EA is fairly committed to the franchise. That being said, even though Respawn has ideas for more games, we’re not guaranteed to get Titanfall 3 anytime soon.

Speaking to Glixel, Respawn CEO Vince Zampella spoke about making another sequel following Titanfall 2 and replied that it was too early to guarantee.

“We don’t know yet. The game is, critically, a huge success. We’re really happy with all the reviews and the positive sentiment. Sales, it’s too early to tell. We’d definitely like to tell more of the story and the universe. I think it’s pretty safe to assume that we’ll explore more of it.”

Though EA publicist Devin Bennett said the publisher “committed to the franchise” when it comes to future titles, Zampella added, “So, whatever the f*** that means.”

Titanfall 2 is currently available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
