Titanfall Game Update 6 Goes Live Today, Adds 8 vs. 8 Pilot Skirmish

New Burn Cards, fixes and other additions arrive in the latest update.

Titanfall

Have you been frustrated with Titanfall’s tendency to put you in 6 vs. 3 matches and not even have the good sense to auto-balance when you get stomped? Are you interested in a Pilots-only skirmish mode with 8 players fighting together instead of 6? Good news then: game update 6 for Respawn Entertainment’s first person shooter will be going live later today for Xbox One and PC users (Xbox 360 users will receive it later).

Pilot Skirmish is obviously the neat new attraction since it pits teams of 8 vs. 8 in a mode with no AI grunts and no Titans. Yes, it’s Titanfall without the Titans but as a featured game mode, it’s a neat little diversion away from Attrition. Also, Marked for Death will now become it’s own permanent game mode – in case you were worried about it leaving any time soon. There are tons of other changes and additions including new Burn Cards and options for colour-blind players.

The update will take time to go live depending on your location so check back on Xbox Live and Origin throughout the day and stay tuned for more information.
