Is this finally the fabled Fallout 4?

In a recent interview with the German Website PC Games, Todd Howard, who was awarded an Honorary Award for his outstanding work at the German Computer Game Awards 2014, spoke about a lot of things. One thing that he also spoke about, which of course is most interesting to us over everything else, is the new game that he is working on with Bethesda. The new game that he teased for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The new game that he said “We’re really excited about [it]!”

That is all we know about this game. We don’t know anything else, but we can speculate on what it might be. It might be the sixth installment in the Elder Scrolls series- the fifth entry, Skyrim, was released in 2011, and is the highest selling RPG of all time not called Pokemon, with 20 million copies shipped, so it would make sense to want to follow up on that success; then again, Skyrim was also the last game Bethesda itself worked on (and there is also the simple fact that The Elder Scrolls Online was just released), so it is much more likely that this new game is Fallout 4, which would be pretty exciting.

Whatever it is, we will see it soon, hopefully. Stay tuned.
