Tokyo Game Show 2018: New Details And Theme Revealed

There's a lot to be excited for when it comes to this year's Tokyo Game Show.

The next Tokyo Game Show is set to take place between September 20 and September 23 . The Japanese Computer Entertainment Suppliers Association has  revealed a lot of details regarding what we can expect to see at this year’s event.

At this year’s “eSports X” event, we can expect to see some changes as it will be all set to appeal to a wider audience. There’s also going to be an increased focus on Broadcasting so as to reach out to a global audience, which is certainly going to boost viewership for the eSports event. Additionally, the theme for this year is called “The Opening of a New Stage” and will focus on a lot of new things including new technology, new events, and much more.

There will be various parts of the show divided between different halls and there’s going to be a lot of things to see and experience at the different events. In the halls between 1 and 8, there will be the Smartphone Game Corner, the Game School corner, General Exhibition and Family Game Park. In the halls between 9 and 11, you can find the eSports Corner, Merchandise Corner, Indie Game Corner and VR/AR  Corner.

On September 20 and 21, the following events will be held: the International Party for business visitors and media, the TGS Forum 2018, the Sense of Wonder Night 2018 which will focus on new ideas, and the Global Game Business Summit. Let’s wait and see what this year’s Tokyo Game Show has in store for us.
