Atlus’ Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore is coming to the Nintendo Switch after initially launching on the Wii U. Since it’s one of the bigger releases to start off 2020, it only makes sense that Nintendo would offer more details on its combat and setting. Check out the latest trailers below, though they’re in Japanese.

The story will be familiar to Shin Megami Tensei fans – an evil force has arrived in Tokyo and you need to venture through some dungeons to defeat it. Though the combat melds Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei, the actual Fire Emblem characters appear as Mirages. Use them to fight your foes (and yes, music is involved).

Performances and the usual references and nods to both franchises aside, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore should be a meaty role-playing game for Switch players. The Switch version will also include new costumes and songs on top of the base game. It’s out on January 17th, 2020 for the platform.
