Activision is bringing Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater back but this time in a much better way. It’s re-releasing Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 as remasters built from the ground up with HD visuals. Many faithful elements like levels and pro skaters are coming back, including Steve Caballero.
A new video goes behind the scenes with Caballero and talks about his involvement in the game. Along with Tony Hawk and Caballero, players can look forward to other pro skaters like Bob Burnquist, Kareem Campbell, Bucky Lasek and many more. Many of the classic trick combos also return along with the game’s signature tracks.
If that weren’t enough, two player local game modes return along with Create-A-Park and Create-A-Skater modes. You can also play online and compete with others, rising up the leaderboard in the process. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 is set to release on September 4th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
