The star of BioShock was not the gameplay, not the story, not the action, not the characters. No, the star of BioShock was its world- Rapture. Rapture, a once-flourishing underwater city is now all but ruined. Ghostly people haunt the city, and the hallways are completely empty, echoing with the sound of your footsteps as you pass through them. You look out the window and see the buildings through the ghastly light around you, and the ever-lasting ocean all around. Truly, there's not world that is as eerie as BioShock's Rapture.
