Of all the games release this generation, none of them, I think, have got the post-apocalyptic/ apocalyptic setting as well as Fallout 3 has. The nuclear fallout aftermath resulted in the world turning into a wasteland with no life existing whatsoever- humans went underground, and overground, the only life we found was in the mutated beings that we had to fight our way through. The buildings were destroyed, every street was deserted… it just gave the feel of a destroyed world very well, better than we imagined.
