7. Borderlands - Post Game Content
So you spend all game looking for this mysterious vault and its mystical contents, only to find out that the only thing of value in there is a giant evil monster thing. Ok, so there is some loot to be had, but it's disgracefully disappointing at best. The real win of Borderlands' ending though was the post-game content. New game plus lead to some awesome loot, and the DLC for Borderlands was generally pretty incredible.
