#6. TALI’ZORAH
Of course- one of the original ones. Tali has been with Shepard since pretty much the beginning, a mainstay of Mass Effect, and it’s not hard to see why BioWare loves her just as much as the fans do. Mass Effect has incredibly deep and rich lore, and Tali serves as the storytelling device for a lot of that- the entire quarian-geth conflict, the tragic history of the quarians, their fascinating culture and way of life, it’s all told through Tali’s perspective in truly fascinating manner. Her own character arc is riddled with struggles and hurdles, and watching her come on top of them every single time and grow as a person makes her increasingly more likeable as well. And, of course, you’re also always wondering just what she’s got hiding behind that helmet, which just adds to the mystery and allure of quarians as a whole.
