10. Trailer Failure and Pele
Technical failure is all around us, thus why a good speech should always be prepared in case your awesome trailer doesn't work out. Of course, not all speeches can be good, but at least the average company exec can muddle through right? Well there was no executive in this scenario. At Ubisoft's 2009 conference the trailer for football game Academy of Champions messed up, forcing them to fill time by interviewing football legend Pele. Pele doesn't speak any English though, resulting in a very uncomfortable five minutes slot.
