XCOM (FPS)
In 2010 2K announced that XCOM would be coming back, but not in the way everyone expected. The classic strategy series was to be revived as a first-person shooter set in the 1960s. The game had a stylistic world, and strange, alien enemies. The game was technically released as The Bureau, but it had changed dramatically, morphing into a third-person cover based shooter. The Bureau was a massive disappointment, and we still are left wondering what kind of incredible experience the XCOM first-person shooter could have been.
