THE FINALS

the finals

Quite possibly the most realistic real-time destruction ever seen in video games, THE FINALS morphs players into human sledgehammers capable of reducing virtual arenas to smouldering piles of dust and rubble. Fledgling developer Embark Studio have opted to use their own destruction system in Unreal Engine 5 instead of Epic’s proprietary Chaos system, and the results are stellar. Bright, crisp, and clean, THE FINALS’ recent open beta was largely a success, running smoothly for the majority despite flailing particles in every moment.
