Pushing the envelope now and the eighth best looking Unreal Engine 5 game on this rundown is Quantum Error, a cosmic horror that is equal parts Dead Space and Metal Gear Solid. The games visuals are exceptional; surfaces are smooth and crisp, with interstellar lighting via Lumen illuminating haunted space station corridors with unsettling realism. The contrast between light and shadow really sells the horror here, and with the game running at 4K and 60 FPS on PS5 its worth diving in to experience the dread for yourself despite the middling reviews.
