4. Energy Sword (Halo)

We have all played a Halo game at one point or the other. And we have all delved in its glorious arsenal of weapons. The first weapon that comes to mind when thinking of great Halo weapons is the Energy Sword. The Energy Sword, trademark weapon of the Elites and The Arbiter, is an all powerful sword that can thrash enemies to hell and back, dealing deadly blows with just one swing. Yes that’s right, one swing of the Energy Sword, and your enemy’s dead- really handy when playing online!

3. Dragon Sword (Ninja Gaiden)

The Dragon Sword is really great, and combined with the power of the Eye of the Dragon, it becomes almost indefatigable, rendering its wielder invincible. With the power of the Dragon Sword, Ryu can defeat almost every enemy that he is faced with, and can come over any obstacle in his adventures. It is good that we are getting a Ninja Gaiden 3, because I would love to have more of the same violent Dragon Sword action.

2. Master Sword (The Legend of Zelda)

The Master Sword- who doesn’t know about this legend of a sword? As much as the franchise, The Legend of Zelda is popular, this sword, the Master Sword, the weapon of the gods, the destroyer of all evil, is known to the entire gaming industry. It doesn’t look very flashy, and it doesn’t have a lot of twisty sharp edges, but it possesses more power than any sword can ever possess, and its wielder practically wields the powers of the Gods. Come on, a weapon that can defeat Ganon is something that has to be taken seriously.

1. Blades of Chaos/Athena/Exile (God of War)

The Blades of Chaos/Athena/Exile are almost as powerful as the unforgettable protagonist of the God of War series, Kratos is. They cut through monsters like Hydras and Minotaur like a mower cuts grass, and look deadly chained to the strong arms of Kratos. So what if they have a different name in every God of War game? They are, after all, the best swords in any video game, ever.

That’s All Folks!

That is all, readers! We hope you liked the list. Tell us if you did via your comments! Suggestions and feedback are always appreciated.
