Quite possibly the biggest game to have launched this side of GTA 5, Fortnite will go down in history as a massively influential game- but its strengths as a third person shooter deserve special mention as well. Coming from the people that brought us Gears of War, it really shouldn’t come as a surprise that shooting in Fortnite feels as good as it does. It’s a much more cartoony style of combat, and combined with the game’s building mechanics, firefights end up being different from what you’d expect from most shooters.
