STAR WARS ROGUE SQUADRON II: ROGUE LEADER
Looking at Rogue Squadron II now, many (if not all) people would just dismiss it as yet another one of those awkward bumbling attempts at achieving photorealism in the early parts of the 21st century- until you realize that this was a 2001 game. For 2001, Rogue Squadron’s visuals weren’t just really damn good, they were downright spectacular. The outer space of the Star Wars universe was displayed in glorious detail in this game, showcasing detailed models of everything from TIE fighters and Star Destroyers to X-wings and the Death Star. An incredible achievement, without the shadow of a doubt.
