DOOM 2
The Doom series stands on a pedestal in the annals of video game history, but that isn’t because of their stories. This is especially true with the first two entries. They were straightforward experiences; winding levels filled with monstrous enemies that constantly stalked the player. In Doom 2 demons have invaded earth and are preparing to wipe out humanity. The conflict is purely antagonistic, but the idea that the games monsters may not come from hell, but are actually from outer space is a clever twist on the first game.
