Ninja Gaiden is a series known for its difficulty. Even your typical fodder enemies are more than capable of tearing your heart out through your back. This difficulty makes every boss fight an event. The difficulty ramps up, forcing you to stay on your toes, learning patterns, narrowly dodge attacks, and slowly carve down their multilayered health bars.
