METAL GEAR RISING REVENGEANCE
There can be no doubt that Metal Gear Rising Revengeance never truly suffered a drop in quality like some other franchises mentioned in this list did. Metal Gear Rising Revengeance was one hell of a game despite its lack of creativity (relatively). Revengeance came out this year on the shoulder of some great expectations, and it turned out to be the best of both worlds. It had the quality polish and thrilling gameplay of Vanquish and the creative spark and awesome weirdness that Platinum Games are known for. Delivering some of the most memorable moments of 2013, in terms of action and gameplay, Revengeance has to be counted as one of the best games to have come out of this generation of gaming.
