ZAK MCKRACKEN AND THE ALIEN MINDBENDERS

Aa graphic adventure title made by Lucasfilm Games during the late 90s- also known as a recipe for success. Most of the time, at any rate- because Zak McKracken wasn’t nearly as successful or renowned as most of the company’s biggest hits. That makes sense, since the game was not a flawless one, but there was quite a lot to love here- the narrative premise, the well-realized characters, the solid and (mostly) consistently funny humour. No, this was no Sam and Max or Monkey Island or Grim Fandango– but it still ranks as one of the better Lucasfilm games out there.
