Marvel vs. Capcom 2
The best thing about Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was the insane amount of characters that they somehow managed to stuff into the roster. It makes sense, too- Capcom had all of its own characters, in addition to the Marvel universe, to work from, after all.. The roster of the game had about 52 characters, which is just a crazy amount of characters to choose from (and is still largely unmatched by modern fighting games). But the best thing about the game was that you could go for months playing the game and you could still find something new about it. Marvel vs Capcom 2 remains a fan favorite, and a fixtures at tournaments, in spite of the numerous updates and sequels that followed.
