The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Visual downgrades are a part and parcel of every game nowadays, especially one as heavily hyped as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. While we don’t think it will suffer like, say, Watch Dogs did in the past – though the screenshots CD Projekt RED released recently didn’t help – it’s certainly up in the air as to whether The Witcher 3 will deliver on all of its promises.

That being said, if the screenshots are indeed WIP and the original vision is what we’re getting, then we couldn’t be happier. It’s an odd scenario to be sure and we’d be happy gameplay-wise either way. But The Witcher 3 was considered to be the shining example of a current gen game. Hopefully, CD Projekt RED is close to making that happen when it releases in May.
