Dialogue changes (Metal Gear NES)
There were two versions of Metal Gear released for the NES; one was a Japanese version and an English (European) version. It’s quite interesting, when you find out that certain dialogue has been edited to help people who are in their respective countries to understand the tone and language of what is being said in the game. For example, when boarding a movable truck, the message that reveals this is “I goofed! The lorry started to move!” (In England lorry is a common dialect for “truck”). However in other versions the character says truck.
