While many loved Destiny, there were a lot of people who just didn’t like the game for what it turned out to be. Destiny received “mediocre” game reviews because it failed to deliver on big promises from Bungie. The plot and story was almost non-existent and there were absolutely no memorable characters. The reason why it became such a disappointment was because it was overly overhyped as the future of gaming.
