Top Overhyped Games of All Time

Doom 3

I’m sure many of you were really hyped for Doom 3, namely because of the immensely popular the series carries. It was released around the same time as Half Life 2, so naturally both of these games were competing for the top spot. However it came as no surprise that Half Life 2 claimed the top spot. The problem with Doom 3 was that, even though it was engaging in some ways, it got bland after a certain while and the soaring popularity of Half Life 2 made it even harder for fans to play Doom 2.
