Nether:
This online persistent First Person MMO has already gotten it’s bit of fanfare. The game was scheduled for a Fall 2013 release, however at this point the game is only available for people who are early adopters to this title, as it’s still very much it beta. This first person game pits you against people in a post-apocalyptic scenario where you have to fend off the leftovers of the human populace, who have been turned into the hosts of some weird demon spawns.
Those people who have not been possessed can either choose to team up with friends or strangers to better their chances of survival, or they can kill anything and everyone that they see, whether they are possessed or not. The game still has a ways to go before it’s finished based on video that is available now, however it’s got some potential. If you’re a fan of online survival games like DayZ or Infestation: Survival Stories, then keep an eye out on Nether.
