When Portal 2 was announced, it came with the fact that co-op will be a function in the game. When the player is playing as Chell in the single player campaign, the player can catch a glimpse of co-op character P-body (who is the tall and orange robot) in the distance. In fact quite coincidentally – the robot makes an appearance and  just as quickly disappears just as Wheatley is hinting that he’s got a surprise in store.
