Metal Gear Solid
Written by Raymond Benson, this novel sees Snake come out of retirement to do what he does best, and see the end of an advanced nuclear weapon. It’s actually a compelling story with some very high stakes, and the plot details can keep you on the edge of your seat, because of some unexpected developments and twists. This ‘digital novel’ was released on UMD for the PSP, so even if you’re uncomfortable holding more than a couple of pages in your hand at a time, you’ve got no excuse with this one- if you’re a fan of the Metal Gear series, give it a read.
