6. Turn off LEDs during video playback
We mentioned before that the Xbox One is a media hub. Microsoft developed the video game console to not just play video games but offer a wide range of media services right out of the box. When it comes to video playback, there should be a feature to allow players to turn off the LED display on the Xbox One or anything connected to the console, for example the controller and Kinect.
Nothing should light up while enjoying a film or worst yet cause a glare. We saw the PlayStation 4 suffer from this fate with its DualShock 4 controller. The controller was becoming a problem when the motion control light started to shine onto the television monitor causing a colorful makeshift glare. Again, this is just a small little feature that could potentially have a major impact for consumers. Why wouldn’t you want to toss this option in?
