7 Days to Die:

This ambitious kickstarter has quite a bit of interesting ideas tied into it. The best way to describe this game is if you took Minecraft, Left 4 Dead and DayZ then stuck them all together to make the quintessential zombie survival game. Players will scavenge for food, secure and build safe houses and contend with not only the Undead, but bandits as well. Players have called this game a survival horde crafting game, which about sums it up nicely.

Players will be able to craft anything from a simple sledge hammer or axe to use as a tool or a weapon, to things as complex as a chainsaws and rocket launchers. This game is currently in it’s testing phase and is scheduled for release sometime in May 2014. The Fun Pimps [the developers] aren’t looking to leave anyone out on this one either, and will be releasing their game on the Windows, Apple and Linux platforms. So whatever your preferred OS of choice, PC gamers should be pleased with this release.
