Torchlight 2 release date confirmed

"Thank all of you for being an awesome and patient community."

Torchlight 2 release date has been confirmed. It comes out on September 20th, 2012. It’s also the same week Borderlands 2 comes out which is also a very popular title considering the amount of publicity it has received so far.

Torchlight follows the Diablo formula and refines it to an extent giving the game its own identity. Torchlight 2 seems to build on that and is shaping up to be a fantastic sequel.

“I don’t think there’s much else I could say that would interest you right now, so – The official Release Date for Torchlight II is Thursday, September 20th, 2012,” read the post on the Runic Games forum.

“3 weeks away! We’ll announce it ‘more’ officially and bigger tomorrow. You know first! Thank all of you for being an awesome and patient community. We look forward to getting this into your hands!”

If you’re at PAX over the weekend, drop by and say hi and play the game. Loads of Runic folk will be there. I’ll be there all the time!
