Torchlight Infinite

A new Torchlight is in the works, this time with XD (which published games like Carto and Icey) involved. Torchlight: Infinite takes place 200 years after the second game and sees humanity using Ember for various machines and magic. Corruption begins to spread as a result but heroes rise up to fight – check out the trailer below for more.

“Torchlight” is used to refer to the heroes fighting back against the forces of darkness and each has their own unique skills, skill trees and passives to utilize. Each hero has three skill trees with eight active skills and three passives. Skills can be customized with Support Skills to give them unique properties. This is on top of “unlimited loot”, no cooldowns and randomized dungeons.

A release date for Torchlight: Infinite has yet to be confirmed but it will have a closed beta “soon.” Those interested can pre-register here for a chance to participate. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days.
