Creative Assembly has released a new trailer for Total War: Warhammer 3, this time focusing on new Legendary Lord Festus the Leech Lord. The video goes in-depth in the gameplay style for Festus and his armies, and his unique mechanics.

The trailer shows off the general campaign gameplay those who pick Festus as their Legendary Lord can expect. Much like Ku’gath Plaguefather, Festus also gives players the ability to concoct their own plagues and sow chaos throughout the campaign map.

Festus will also be able to set up small portal networks, allowing his armies to travel across the gigantic Immortal Empires map to quickly provide backup, or even just to help scout out enemy factions.

Creative Assembly has been busy with the impending beta launch of Total War: Warhammer 3‘s Immortal Empires mode. Earlier this month, the studio revealed details about the dedicated factions coming to Immortal Empires.

The studio has also revealed starting positions for some of the factions in Immortal Empires. Released as a free update, Immortal Empires is set to launch as a beta in August.
