Toukiden: Kiwami Will Be Coming to PlayStation 4 As Well

Let's hope the game benefits from the extra resources of the PS4.

Toukiden: Kiwami, the follow up to the original Toukiden: Age of Demons that hit the PlayStation Vita last year, was already announced to be coming to the west on PlayStation Vita, but now, Tecmo Koei have confirmed that the game will also be coming to the PlayStation 4, giving this great action game series a chance to shine on the big screen, and to appeal to western audiences who would be more inclined to pick up a game on their console over their handheld.

Toukiden is of course a ‘Monster Hunter’-like, but with a difference: it’s faster, more nimble, allows for greater control, and its unique Japanese history and mythology inspired flavor gives it distinct character. The original game was excellent, and still stands as one of the best on the PS Vita- hopefully, this new game is as good as that one was, and it benefits from being on the PlayStation 4 as well. Both, the PS Vita and PS4 versions, have been confirmed for a western release.
