Remember TowerFall Ascension, the crazy 2D multiplayer title that focused on flicking arrows, killing your friends and hopping about stages? After releasing on the PC, PS4 and PS Vita (let’s pretend the Ouya release never happened), it’s finally coming to Xbox One on January 25th as per Eurogamer.

Developed by Matt Thorson, TowerFall Ascension was pegged for release on Xbox One back in August 2015. Along with a release date for the base game, it was also announced that the latest expansion – The Dark World – will be out on the same day for Xbox One so there’s even more content to experience.

With four player local competitive support, TowerFall Ascension was rated fairly high when it first released, holding an 87 score on both the PC and PS4. What are your thoughts on finally playing it on Xbox One? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information when it eventually goes live.
