Transformers Devastation

Fans of the old Transformers television show just let out a collective squeal of delight as the Transformers: Devastation was officially unveiled after initial whispers by Activision and Platinum Games. The game is a third person action-brawler that is equipped with the same art style that Hasbro brought to the masses in that cartoon series. Able to play as one of five different iconic Autobots, the game actually allows users to transform from robot to vehicle (or dinosaur) and back.

Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Swideswipe, Wheeljack and Grimlock are all available and are all equipped with their own special abilities. As the game unfolds, players will be able to unlock brand new abilities while taking on decepticons like Megatron and Devastator in epic battles. Best of all is that the companies have managed to get the voice actors who brought the original robots to life including Frank Welker as Megatron and Soundwave and Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime.

Transformers: Devastation is expected to hit the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC later this year though an exact release date is still unknown.
