Treyarch Won’t Stand For Black Ops Cheaters

Posted By | On 12th, Nov. 2010

Unlike the crumbling developer Infinity Ward (which is because of Activision in my opinion), Treyarch are working aggressively  to stop cheaters in Call of Duty: Black Ops.  There have been no game breaking glitches found yet in Black Ops which is great but apparently players have already hacked the game’s online multiplayer component. It has not spread like a wildfire yet but Treyarch’s Multiplayer Design Director, David Vonderhaar lays down the law in some emotional and inspiring words on the Black Ops Forums. “What many of these people want is to be Internet nerd famous. I’m not going to make them famous and you shouldn’t either.” Vonderhaar said, “We are disinterested in making mini-celebrities out of douche-bags.” Vonderhaar again added.  This is good news and I am happy to see this support for the game.
