Tropico 5 (6)

Haemimont Games and Kalypso Media have announced that players will be able to return to the twisted island of Tropico on PC very soon. The PC version of Tropico 5 will be out on May 23rd globally – with a US release of May 27th – while the Xbox 360 and Mac versions will be out this Summer. PS4 games may need to wait though as the banana republic simulator will be out in the Autumn. If that weren’t enough, a SteamOS version is also in development that will launch alongside the Steam Machines when they’re out.

Kalypso has also launched a new website for the game which provides all the information you could need to learn about Tropico 5. You’ll return as El Presidente and travel through different eras to establish your rule while facing off against the usual rebel factions and trying to maintain your citizens’ happiness.

Tropico 5 will feature a new art style and some new features, including Dynasties, which allow you to supplant family members into public office. Stay tuned for more info as it releases this March.
