Ubisoft Confirms That Rainbow Six: Siege Will Be 60FPS On All Platforms

Ubisoft loves that parity.

Rainbow Six: Siege

True to tradition, Ubisoft unveiled a brand new project that they are working on near the end of their E3 conference this year, and as always, their showing was amazing- this time, they took the curtains off of a resurrected Rainbow Six: Patriots, now called Rainbow Six: Siege. And while Siege looked absolutely great, we haven’t heard a whole lot more from it since E3 ended.

So, here’s some new information about the game that Ubisoft shared with us all today- they confirmed that the game will be 60 frames per seconds on all platforms (which is great, the kind of shooting action the game demonstrated at its E3 debut would almost necessitate 60 frames). The only question here is if the resolution will be compromised to hit this target, and if so, if it will be done across multiple platforms (like Assassin’s Creed Unity) to achieve ‘parity.’

Rainbow Six: Siege launches in 2015.
