The company has announced a new showcase for June, where we're presumably going to see the likes of Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin's Creed Codename Red.

E3 might be officially dead, but June is still the time where the industry will collectively be shedding light on what the future will bring, with events like the Xbox Games Showcase and Summer Game Fest already having been confirmed for the month. Another name has also now joined that list.

Taking to Twitter, Ubisoft recently announced a Ubisoft Forward showcase for June 10, which it will be streaming live from Los Angeles. The company says it will share “updates” and talk about “upcoming releases” at the show, but hasn’t shared any specifics.

Presumably, this will be the showcase where Ubisoft will fully unveil Assassin’s Creed Codename Red. The company has said that the open world action RPG will be releasing sometime before April next year, but leaks have claimed that it’s targeting a Fall 2024 release.

Another major game that Ubisoft has lined up for this year is Star Wars Outlaws. The Massive Entertainment-developed open world action-adventure title is officially scheduled for this year, but previous leaks have claimed that it’ll release in the first half of 2024, so there’s a chance that the game is already out (or close to releasing) when the Ubisoft showcase happens.

Stay tuned for updates on what the showcase might bring in the coming weeks.
