Ubisoft has issued a survey to several of its consumers, asking for feedback on ideas for taking the Far Cry franchise forward in the future.

According to Eurogamer, there are ideas such as “a Far Cry game where you can fight against or join vampires”, “a Mad Max-style post-apocalyptic world” and “a Far Cry game set in the modern day on a Jurassic Park-style island with dinosaurs”. This isn’t to suggest that Ubisoft will be taking Far Cry 5 in these directions – it’s just a way to gauge fans’ reactions to these ideas and then build off of them.

As far as settings go, Ubisoft also listed locations like Peru, Alaska and the Vietnam War. It will be interesting to see how the next Far Cry progresses going forward, especially since Far Cry 4 was so similar to the third game. Would you be interested in a Far Cry with vampires or in Vietnam? Let us know in the comments.
