Ubisoft Planning To Overhaul The PvE In The Division

What those plans are, however, remains a mystery.

The Division may have had a far better launch than Bungie’s Destiny, but it is facing a lot of the same problems as Destiny did back in 2014- for instance, there is the same dearth of content, and a lot of players are questioning just what they should be doing in the game once they complete the campaign- especially since the PvP Dark Zone arenas have a lot of problems that cause many players to avoid them.

However, in a Twitch stream earlier, Community Developer Hamish Bode was asked if there were any plans “to ‘reinvigorate’ the PvE area,” by one of the viewers- and it turns out that yes, such plans are indeed in the works, though Bode naturally refused to get into any more specifics. He may, however, have been referring to the upcoming Underground expansion.

Whatever it is, let us hope they do it soon- The Division is a great game, with some neat ideas and excellent mechanics. It would suck to see it lose steam because of a lack of content.
