EA Sports have released the very first trailer for UFC 2, which is going to be a follow up to last years’ EA Sports UFC, today. It’s a pretty short trailer that serves more to confirm the existence of the project than anything else. A full blown reveal is set to follow on Friday, including a proper trailer.
As such, there is absolutely no gameplay footage in this reveal trailer. Instead, the new video, titled ‘Vision,’ looks at what the development studio intends to do with the sequel. There’s also a look at what the new game will bring in terms of gameplay changes and modes. The trailer announces a spring 2016 release date, as well.
EA Sports UFC had a strong foundation if nothing else (the actual game was pretty flawed), so it’s good to see EA giving the thing a second crack- if they are indeed going to target all the problem areas as they say they will, who knows, we may have a pretty good game on our hands here.
