UK Charts: Ghost Recon Wildlands Dethrones Horizon Zero Dawn

Nier: Automata and LEGO Worlds also debut.

In a rather hilarious twist, Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands is the number 1 selling game in the UK according to Gfk Chart-Track’s data on physical game sales. Horizon: Zero Dawn, the previous week’s number 1, has dropped to second place.

New entry LEGO Worlds also debuted strongly at third place with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild currently in fourth place. Grand Theft Auto 5 continues to hang on to its spot in the top 10 at fifth place followed by Nier: Automata debuting at sixth place. FIFA 17 is in seventh while Rocket League, 1-2-Switch and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare round out the remaining top 10.

It should be noted that digital sales are not accounted for in these sales charts. Still, it’s interesting to see Ghost Recon: Wildlands doing so well after such negative feedback from the betas. The current version of the game has improved on those numerous issues and Ubisoft continues to support it with more fixes and patches.
