Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

After Grand Theft Auto 5 became the biggest game release in the history of the UK, due to combined sales from the current and previous gen versions, the latest UKIE game charts courtesy of Gfk Chart-Track has revealed that Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is once again the top most selling title for the week.

This is due to Black Friday sales which propelled the previous gen version sales up, accounting for 67 percent of total sales for the week. Meanwhile, FIFA 15 is at second place with an 84 percent increase in sales and Grand Theft Auto 5 is at third place with a 64 percent drop in sales.

New releases this week include Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire entering at sixth and seventh place at respectively, becoming the largest Pokemon releases in the UK. LittleBigPlanet 3 sadly entered the charts at 18th despite selling on both PS3 and PS4. At least DriveClub sales are up, propelling the game up to eighth place.
