Say what you want about its first week sales in the UK but Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare scored its eighth week at number one according to Gfk Chart-Track.

FIFA 17 followed closely though sales are down by 72 percent from the previous week. Grand Theft Auto 5 is in third placed followed by Battlefield 1 and Forza Horizon 3. Watch Dogs 2 is doing reasonably well in sixth place while Mafia 3 is in seventh and Rocket League is in eighth place.

Meanwhile, Pokemon Sun saw a 91 percent increase in week-on-week sales, moving up from 36th place to ninth place. Ubisoft’s Steep rounded out the top 10.

It should be interesting to see how the sales charts shake up over the coming weeks with games like Gravity Rush 2, Tales of Berseria, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard releasing. Which game are you looking forward to in January? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information.
